Schedule
Although we are still finalizing our schedule, the SUPERNOVA Summer School promises a dynamic and enriching experience for students. Each week will be organized around similar academic areas, with mornings dedicated to engaging and interactive academic sessions. Afternoons will focus on team-building and cultural activities, such as monument visits or escape rooms, ensuring a well-rounded and memorable program.
Week I
Participants will explore key aspects of health, sciences, life quality, and well-being through hands-on sessions and expert-led discussions. The program includes "Healthy Lifestyles: From Theory to Practice," focusing on practical strategies for a healthier life, and an "Entrepreneurship Module," where innovation meets business. Activities will take place at NOVA's Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology, NOVA Medical School, and NOVA School of Business and Economics, providing a multidisciplinary experience at the intersection of health, science, and entrepreneurship.
Week II
This week brings together science, technology, communication, media, and culture in an immersive and interdisciplinary experience. Participants will explore "Health for All: People and the Environment," dive into travel health and disease vectors, and engage with NOVA alumni for insights into their career paths. The sessions will take place across NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA School of Law, National School of Public Health, and the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, providing a broad perspective on the connections between health, innovation, and society.
